Should I go to Pat Robertson’s law school?
Eleventy asked:
I got a letter a couple months ago asking me to apply but I didn’t (one of the essay questions — “How have your Christian beliefs influenced your decision to attend law school?”)…
But now, I got an e-mail saying I’ve been accepted and they’re offering me a full-ride scholarship… Should I go?

No… at the rate things are going they’ll send your diploma in a couple of months even if you don’t go.
If you didn’t apply but still got in, don’t go.
That should set off every alarm bell in your head.
You should convert to theistic Satanism and go. Then you can sue them for religious discrimination when they kick you out.
Eleventy, get hold of yourself, man! You’ll make up the cash in no time. Imagine the years of hades ahead of you. You’re not a hooker, you’re a law student:)
Of course, maybe they’re similar……. hmmmmm ……….
You’ll want to investigate it a bit further.
I remember a few years ago, Robertson’s university suddenly rescinded their ‘free’ scholarship offers, and told those who were halfway through their classes to suck it up.
Yes, the Church needs more good lawyers!
lol…..law graduates from Pat Robertson in big demand? About the only job you’ll get with that degree is doing repo work for some loan shark.
Yes! You can get a government job in any U.S. state in the South or the rural Midwest, you’ll get to face dreaded Jedi ACLU lawyers (assuming you survive the initial confrontations), and everybody with absolutely no credible law degree will respect the hell out of you.
Did I mention that you’ll be an awesome chick-magnet? No?
Well, you will.
Congrats on the scholarship! You should go, but ONLY if you really want to be a lawyer and know the kind of work that lawyers do. Too many law school applicants apply because they’ve heard that you can do “anything” with a law degree or because they are “Law & Order” junkies. Talk to practicing lawyers and see if their work interests you….if it does, go to law school (as you have a full ride)….if it doesn’t, don’t go.
Maybe you could get extra scholarships for being a minority there, an atheist.
